Still here, but happier.

The latest from Logan: the Cubs' colored blips proved superior to the Brewers' by a score of 2-0. (Get used to the flags, it's a Wrigley, and now Hi-Plains tradition. White for win, blue for loss. But also worth noting, the Cubs are undefeated since this site hit the web and changed the world.)

Zambrano pitched eight solid innings of three-hit baseball, Dempster converted his 12th consecutive save and MVP Lee hit another homer. Good win, the Cubs always have problems with those American League expatriates. Maybe it is tied to the Packer's dominance over the Bears in recent years, who knows. For whatever reason, when it comes to a battle between two of America's leading sausage cities, Milwaukee always seems to have Chicago's number.

One notable exception, the NBA where the Bulls made the playoffs and Milwaukee ensured they probably never will by taking Andrew Bogut with the first pick. You generally want more out of a player with the top pick than comparisons to Vlade Divac.

Meanwhile, ESPN's draft analyst Chad Ford proclaimed Boston's pick of Gerald Green the second biggest steal of the draft. (First being Chris Paul.) In fact, he called it an "awesome pick for Boston," which I said about an hour ago.

Aside: What's with the line of kids shoes with wheels in the soles? I just watched a kid roll by me as his parents walked quickly behind. I thought he was the spawn of Satan, hatched from Hellfire, blessed with the ability to levitate while the rest of us ambulate. I only seem to see this behavior in airports, which is more logical than it may seem. After experiencing moving walkways, who doesn't want to replicate that experience every where they go?
