With Saturday's WV-USF game postponed by the hurricane, I've been forced to scramble out of the pocket looking for a 10th game. Wait? This just happens to be Thursday? How about taking the Terps?

Maryland is wearing the black uniforms so I had to take them. I really don't want to start my week at 0-1, but Maryland is a team that in the past has improved week to week and plays its best ball later in the season. They've won three straight and I think they stick closie to the Hokies.

Sure enough, if you bet the Thursday game just to get action, you always lose. Marcus Vick tried to give me this game with three interceptions in the third, but the Terps couldn't complete a pass that wasn't a screen. That and their kicker missed 2 FG's.
The final score doesn't reflect it, but if he makes even one of those kicks, I have a chance to cover.
Not only am I 0-1, but I had to fend off questions of Tom Osborne's integrity at the bar tonight. Say what you want about Dr. Tom, but if you can only say one thing about him, it would be that he was ALWAYS a class act.
It's not my fault that in 1997 Michigan struggled, nay should have lost if it weren't for some questionable time keeping, to a Ryan Leaf led Wazzu squad in the Rose Bowl.
Meanwhile, Nebraska was dismantling Peyton Manning and Tennessee.
