The Holy Grail
What you see here is the single greatest piece of Nebraska memorabilia ever. It's true. This 1940's "Pep Sweater" elicited the f-word from uniform/design impresario Paul Lukas and if you want it you're probably going to have to fight him for it.
Despite the unmistakable presence of breasts in the photo above, this is a men's sweater according to the seller. If it weren't for this barrel chest of mine, I'd be right in the mix for this thing. (OK, it's pretty small.)
But for those of you who can squeeze into this, the ebay auction is open until Thursday. Get bidding and become the source of my eternal envy.

Nice find! Too bad it's so small.
Don't worry, there are a few other Husker goodies on eBay at the moment.
Perhaps this 1971 Rare Unopened Jerry Tagge Nebraska Decanter is more your size?
No?
Could I interest you in a 1988 Big 8 Championship ring?
You gotta love eBay.
My father actually has that decanter. (And a Johnny Rodgers too.)
I considered not sending Uni Watch the link until after the auction ended, but figured that all loyal Cornhuskers should be made aware of this bit of sweater perfection and given the opportunity to bid on it.
I forgot to credit Robert (from the comment above) in the post but he was the one who uncovered this gem, as he did back in December.
I'm officially naming him royal chancellor of Nebraska uniform and merchandise eccentricity.
