This glimpse of the future brought to you by the fine folks at NCAA08blog.com.
Nebraska's biggest intradivision game of the season is still months away but I'm happy to report that the Huskers are already up on Missouri thanks to this brilliant throw from our QB to be Sam Keller (You'll have to wait until about the 30 second mark as HB#33 dances around in the backfield when the video starts. I don't know who you are HB#33 but you'll learn soon enough that north-south is the way to the promised land. Leave that east-west crap back home with your letterman's jacket):
There's a lot to like here. Footwork's good, Keller is poised as Mizzou's defensive end bears down on him and he delivers an absolute strike at the last possible moment while still avoiding the sack. I suspect even the great Blaine Gabbert ("throw the ball wherever I want", "rocket arm") could appreciate such a toss.
My only problem is Nate Swift's needlessly showy dive into the endzone. Act like you've been there before son.
