Two days removed, I'm still struggling with the proper perspective for USC's routine dissection of Nebraska on Saturday.
Looking for hope? I suggest you look to Big Red Network and CollegeFootballNews.com.
More of a masochist? Try the LA writers Simers and Whicker.
Personally, I just want to know how a person can come out and say: "We can run the ball. We can certainly run the ball. There's no question about it," when there is so much irrefutable proof to the contrary.
In Callahan's six games against Top 10 teams Nebraska has rushed for 526 yards on 187 attempts. That's good, or rather bad, for 2.8 yards per carry.
Seems like there's some question there, but those stats are against the best teams in the country. Maybe that's not fair.
I guess the good news is that Missouri is still giving up more total yards than Nebraska.
